How do you structure your fees and design model?
We offer pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation and a better understanding of your project, we’ll provide a customized quote with no hidden costs.
How involved do I need to be throughout the design and construction process?
As involved as you want to be.
We tailor the process to each client, providing guidance and communication at every important stage while managing the many details required to bring a project to life. Whether you prefer to be closely involved in each decision or entrust us to lead the process with your vision in mind, our role is to make the experience feel seamless, considered, and enjoyable.
Do you handle commercial, hospitality, or corporate office projects?
While primarily a residential design firm, we are able to handle smaller boutique commercial projects depending on the scope of work.
Do you work on projects outside of the Minneapolis and Lake Minnetonka area?

At what stage of a new build or remodeling project should we hire you?
Earlier than you think! Some of the most successful luxury homes begin with the Interior Designer involved from the very start.
Long before construction begins, a designer can help homeowners define how they want to live, evaluate potential architects and builders, and ensure that every design decision supports both the aesthetics and functionality of the home. The earlier an Interior Designer joins the team, the greater the opportunity to influence the outcome.
Can you work within our specific budget, and how do you help us manage it?
Yes. We begin by understanding your priorities and establishing a clear investment framework for the project. From there, we help guide decisions throughout the design process, balancing priorities, selections, and scope to keep the project aligned with your goals.
Thoughtful budgeting is an integral part of our process. We provide clarity around anticipated costs, identify opportunities to make informed decisions, and help manage the many details that can impact a project's overall investment—so that the final result feels both intentional and considered.
What is the difference between an NCIDQ-certified interior designer and a decorator?
While both professions may be involved in selecting furnishings, fabrics, finishes, and color palettes, the similarities largely end there. Interior Designers are trained to consider not only aesthetics, but also the functionality, safety, and overall performance of a space. Their work often includes space planning, construction documentation, coordination with architects and builders, material specifications, lighting design, cabinetry design, and an understanding of building codes and construction practices. Can you incorporate my existing furniture, artwork, or meaningful travel pieces into the new design?
Whether a re-design, remodel or new custom build, we carefully document treasured pieces—from a favorite sculpture to a meaningful textile or artwork collected during your travels—then we’ll carefully curate content to ensure the finished space reflects your story as much as your style.
What happens if an unexpected problem arises on-site during construction?
Unexpected issues are an inevitable part of construction. When they arise, we help assess the situation, evaluate the available options, and guide the team toward the best solution for the project.
